Custom Gear for a Tradition That Keeps Growing

What started as a buddies’ golf trip with just eight friends has now grown into something much bigger—The Eight has become a full-scale tradition with 48 players coming together each year. For the third year in a row, Acorn Hills was honored to design the custom polos and hats that help bring this event to life.

This year’s collection featured scratch designs created exclusively for the group, giving every player something unique to wear and remember the experience by. For us, projects like this are special—not just about the gear, but about capturing the spirit and history of a tradition that keeps growing.

A huge thank you goes to Mike Marsico, who has led The Eight and helped shape it into what it is today. We’re also grateful to Lawrence Park Golf Club for being such an important part of this story and continuing to host this one-of-a-kind gathering.

From a trip between friends to an annual event with nearly 50 golfers, The Eight is proof that good traditions only get stronger with time. We’re proud to play a small role in it, year after year.
